Fudge Brain!

It’s beginning to set in – fudge brain!

Previously a very well organised person is slowly turning into a forgetful dimwit! A women who loves to chat – to suddenly forget the end of the sentence half way through, to walk into the kitchen 3 times and forget each time what I went in for seems to be amusing Mr T!

A classic example is cooking tea last night, first a hot baking tray slips into my hand so what do I do? use my other hand to pick it up..doh! result = two burnt hands. This is followed by me covering my hands in sudocrem, and then attempting to pick up a glass of drink, you can guess the end result. But on a bright side Mr T had a good old chuckle, while I cried and snotted like a kid on his shoulder mumbling about how useless I had become! 10 mins later and i was feeling much better.

The joys of fudge brains!

I’m sure this is just the start of some classic fudge brain incidents, which are sure to follow in the coming weeks.

Quick Catch Up!

Sorry for a lack of blog over the past couple of weeks, been slightly hectic!

I’ve had my 25 week appointment with the doc. You may be surprised to hear that this was my first official appointment with the doc, other visits had been at my request for sickness tablets! All other appointments have been with the midwife.

Anyway, appointment all went well, heartbeat was good, blood pressure OK and she has referred me for physio for my bad back.

The only hiccup of the day, was Mr T using the urine sample pot for drill bits, which I discovered after half hour of running round the house looking for it in the morning, while desperate to go to loo!

Bad Back

God, I now feel sorry for all those people who suffer from a bad back! I’ve always thought I was too young to experience this, however pregnancy has brought the pleasure, or lack, of this experience early and I hope to god it goes once the baby has arrived.

I’m assuming the fact that already I have put on two stone, yes two stone!!! And I still have 14 weeks left, has had put a strain on my ikle back.

The good news is that I have already received my first physio appointment for next Monday, so hopefully they will be able to help.

I’m missing taking Marley for her long walks, especially with the nice weather we’ve been having, and have had to move all kitchen cupboard items to a higher level so I don’t have to bend over. Even sitting on my lounging sofa has become a struggle.

Pregnancy Grant

I blogged a while back about the new grant scheme for pregnant ladies, well last week I hit 25 weeks and did not delay requesting the form from my midwife and sent it straight in. Apparently there is a backlog on applications. The £190 will be going towards our nursery furniture!
